The Listening Room is a simple idea: one album, played from beginning to end. No skipping. No shuffle. No algorithm. We meet online, I play the record, add a little context along the way, and leave some space afterwards for conversation about what we’ve heard. It’s not a lecture, a review or a music quiz. It’s simply an excuse to give an album our full attention — and perhaps rediscover something we’ve forgotten how to do: just listen.

I can control my end and I’ve tested out the streaming and audio quality with a few people but I can’t control your end. I’d love you to have a great listening experience. There’s a good chance that the first time we do this for real we might have some technical difficulties and I’ll do my best to resolve what I can as we go.
