Travel writing for people who aren’t entirely convinced by the idea of being tourists.

The Reluctant Tourist is about travelling slowly, noticing things and allowing places to be themselves rather than treating them as a list of sights to be ticked off. It’s less interested in Ten Things You Must See and more interested in what happens when you wander down the wrong street, sit in a café for too long, or simply pay attention to where you are. Part travel writing, part reflection, it’s about experiencing a place rather than collecting it.
